Regarding Magic TXD program (problems with making new textures work)
So I decided to use the program since TXD workshop is outdated and doesn't work. It allowed me to edit the Particle.txd file in my GTA Vice City (I'm using the Definitive Edition mod btw). While I was able to replace the blood texture files with newer ones from the HD particle mod, attempting to replace the flames or explosion textures didn't change anything in game. Mind you, I did save the file after editing it.

The blood textures were changed and actually showed up in game, but the flames continued to be the default textures still used by either vanilla GTA Vice City or Definitive Edition mod (probably PS2 version though). Is the issue with which compression method I use, and in what format I extract it? What is the most preferable and best format to extra said textures when replacing them and what compression method should I choose when replacing the old one (DDX1 or DDX5 or Raw Raster, with several of its own methods)?
