And yes it's working perfectly for me under Linux.
Widescreen support, bug fixes galore, numerous graphical improvements, etc, etc.
Amazing news.
San Andreas, Vice/Liberty City Stories are surely to follow!
Rockstar were never gonna fix it.

Status: Counter Claim - interoperability.
Hopefully the github repo will return soon and the work will resume publicly; the project has been mirrored all over the place either way.

The alternative is receiving something with more legal weight like a cease and desist order which will probably kill the project in it's current form.
