They're removing it from sale, not removing what you already bought, because if they did remove what we bought, they would have a lawsuit for sure, so of course they're not removing what you bought already.

its been stated that you will keep any version of the game you have already purchased.

Typically when a game is delisted, people who already purchased it will still have access to it in their libraries. People who don't already have it just won't be able to buy it.

I think they will remove it only for new buyers. Same as Rocket League on the Epic Launcher.

At least we should be able to play the old versions unruined unlike GTA4 Steam

I wish they gave us more time, was gonna surprise my little sister with the trilogy but there isn't enough time.
thunderwoody Oct 9, 2021 @ 10:07am
@u2020bullet Not enough time to buy the Trilogy? Steam doesn't delete any games subsequently.

Whoops, didn't mean for me, was gonna surprise my sister with the trilogy, she used to play on my computer when she was little. My bad for not clarifying.

It's OK. My English isn't the best. But you can buy it as a gift on Steam and give it away later.

The best investment i ever done in this platform, was buying the original trilogy before it got deleted.

Technically you are renting it from steam. As for lawsuits, you can try but I'm sure steam has somewhere buried in TOS that they can remove your account anytime they please and be covered.

The issue is that this is removing what was paid to be provided via rental service, revoking can cause issue as well one could start lawsuit if wanted, R* is not exampt from courts, and laws just because of policy, and I doubt Steam want to be involved with R* major F ups. So yea I doubt R* will go out of their way to revoke people games that already bought / redeem game.
