Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

Worth playing in 2020 for a new player?
I never played this game when it first released so there is no nostalgia factor for me. Do you still think it is worth playing? Why?

Yes, this is worth playing because... tbh it's a rockstar classic and the radio stations are amazing. You will have much fun in there :) [ and yes i bought this game this year]

Of course! It has an amazing storyline, radio stations and much more! I recommend to modify your game for more felling and experience.

Since you can get it around for cheap, why not? That being said, the game has rather aged poorly. Some things are still great though, the music, the humor and ambience.

100% worth playing as it is, in my opinion, one of the best GTA's ever made
Well it's one of the most iconic and nostalgic games but there are so many issues I spent more times fixing the issues than playing the game the game breaks the load files do not work and the mouse also stops working for some reason. After the fixing the game everyday it breaks again. :steamsad:

Tough to gauge. Back in 2003 it was a cute novelty of a game but that's all it ever was. VC is the GOOD version of GTA 3. GTA 3 was another novelty for the time that sucked overall. The gameplay and shock value is what made GTA 3 a success. VICE CITY is the GOOD version of GTA 3.

It's definitely worth a shot.

Good music, good story, and even if you don't end up completing every thing in the damn game, you'll still squeeze a good 25 to 30 hours out of it.

I currently have 25 hours in the game and I've barely just reached the half of the game.

It's a masterpiece.

Vice City is GTA before the series got down bogged down by filler missions, horrible music, try-hard "cinematic" Rockstar dialogue, and BS mechanics.

Graphics are (obviously) worse than GTA V, but somehow the shooting mechanics and gunfights are actually much more intense and realistic. It's kind of embarrassing how much more fun Vice City is than GTA V.
