Using a custom skin for cutscenes?
Does anyone know where i need to put a custom skin to use it in cutscenes?

It should be in the "skins" folder, you can find it in the game files :
Steam / steamapps / common / Grand Theft Auto Vice City / skins
Put your custom skin here, and go in the in-game options to equip it.

I have no problem doing that for putting a custom skin on for general gameplay, but the base model is still being used for cutscenes.

The only thing I found about that is this post[www.neoseeker.com] where someone has the same issue as you.
Cutscenes seem to use the outfit you're currently wearing and not just your custom skin (which is kinda weird...).

cutscenes use a different model and textures for the player and custom skin only works in gameplay

from the vice city readme:
"When applied, the skins will only affect Tommy's street outfit, and only in-game,
not in cut-scenes."
