GTA VC Multiplayer (VC:MP)

I would like to remind everyone that there's a multiplayer mod for Vice City and it still features an active community. For those interested just visit and download the multiplayer client from https://vc-mp.org/

it would be a server problem where i cou;dn't join a server now the launcher

Try to do this

Open the VC:MP Browser -> Tools -> Settings

Fill the"Updater URL" box with:

http://u04.thijn.ovh

And make sure that the gta:vc directory path in the Settings is correct.

I tried it awhile back and it seemed sketchy asf

I first got the game to launch by chaging the master update list to http://u04.thijn.ovh, then updating the list.

Then I had to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable Update 3 RC because I first got the error message about missing vcruntime140.dll

Now when I try to get into a server I get the popup Invalid VC:MP dll path c:\documents and settings\administrator\local settings\application data\vice city mulitplayer\04rel003\vcmp-steam.dll the file is there in that folder though.


Running windows xp and steam version of GTA VC. Other then this multiplayer the GTA installed works fine.
