I've heard they were cut from the Steam version, but the first thing I've listened was Billie Jean. Did they buy the rights again?

I think that R* did in fact buy the rights again. I bought this game off of Steam about two weeks ago to revisit old memories and the fact that it was only $10 was a steal to me. My version of the game also has both Michael Jackson songs. After I complete this game, I can't wait to buy Gta 3 and then San Andreas off of Steam to give R* even more money by buying the same games a record total of....Let's see, 2002, 2003 (The year that I played Gta 3 for the first time), 2004, different consoles, oh lol I honestly lost count.

are all the cut songs back on vice city? i notice michael jacksons songs were cut on the mobile version but not steam

I played both GTA 3 and Vice city around 2007. Never got too far into em doe. way too focused on killing people, and my PS2 was sold.
Buuut, I got it on steam recently. And already the game is just as good as I remember it.

I bought it when GTA 1 and 2 were in a bundle with it, so I thought it was natural to hear these songs.

Interesting I bought game this January and only recently started game, all songs are in the game
