Stuck on loading screen? Please help.

I just got it, and I tried to start a new game. It loaded very quickly, but when it got about 98% done, It just freezes. I've tried compatibility and running as administrator. Help?

P.S. I didn't get the game through Steam so I can't do any start-up commands.

You might have to reinstall the game-- make sure you aren't running any other programs during reinstalling, sometimes having other processes going can stress your PC and allow it to actually skip necessary files or write files that are missing information, leading in glitches and crashes, as well as loading issues.

If reinstalling does not work, I can't help. Most I can recommend after that is scouring Google for helpful information.
