Any cheats to slow or stop the mission timer?
And I DO NOT mean the "BOOOOORING" cheat to just slow the entire game down. I mean a cheat to give you more time in the missions that have some utterly stoopidly impossible tight time limits. Though it is looking like a futile quest, I'm not finding jack-zhit anywhere..... and on the subject have a good laugh at the dreadful English on this thread about it..... http://www.subgamers.com/gta-iii-cheat-code-to-slow-down-mission-timer-5960615.html

"I fraternally looked for dangerously cheat codes on the web" - WOOT?
"magazines" misoin, i would also marvelously be intertested in such a regionally cheat, i found one but it dident apparently work." WOOOOOOT?
HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! What a buncha r-e-t-a-r-d-s! Worst English I've seen since playing "Blitzkreig II" and trying to read "Uncel Donal" pages on Facebook!

It's looking like I'm going to have to resort to "Cheat Engine" by the looks of it.

I finished this game at 100 % twice already; You just have to get good at it....Oh and patience is a must in some cases. And no, there isn't any cheat out there to slow down the timer.

Well I'm f-in screwed on this one then. Even Cheat Engine can't seem to hack it.

BTW - when it comes to the sheer ridiculousness of timed missions like "Patriot Playground" then all I can skeptically say to A Loner is:- "YouTube video of you doing it or it hasn't happened"!!!!!:steamhappy: I can't even get past two or three of the checkpoints NVM all 20 of them!

Patriot playground.... thats the hummer mission isn't it ? Yea, thats ONE i remember well ! Raged quite a few times on that one. But ultimately, its possible. And no, im not about to re do the whole game, create a youtube and gmail account, then upload the whole thing, just because you don't believe me ! If you don't have patience, might aswell stop playing the game :ghlol:

On a happy note, when you DO manage to beat that mission, DAMN you feel good !!!:KOh:

Aha it was indeed the one started with the hummer parked in the SupaSave carpark on the first island, one of the checkpoints was halfway down a near vertical, 100ft cliff if I remember right! Yeah sure! Anyway bet there are a few YT vids already, if I could do Patriot Playground I'd definately show off with a YT vid!

If i remember correctly, that specific hummer is not like all the others in the game; even though it might look like it, that hummer CAN climb steep hills and stop mid point without sliding !! I remember now that we're talking about it.

That would give you half a chance then. I wonder if the other two similar missions (eg the one in the Landstalker in the park, Staunton Island) also have better allterrain?

Reminds me, I've seen some vids showing even cars like Perennials (buggily) driving up almost vertical slopes in GTA

Kind of gives me more encouragement to try them again!

Are these missions not optional anyway?
The booring cheat could make it easier for sure ... :)

Why not just download some trainer and use it? I did so, it stopped the timer.

Yes they are optional as in they're not part of the storyline missions, but if you want the full 100% complete stat then they're not so optional. And a lot of the storyline mission also use the timer, with some extremely draconian time limits to boot!
The "boooooring" cheat does make it a bit easier, but it also slows YOU down as well as the clock, so relatively you've still only got the same ammount of time.

I've usually found such trainers are just delivery systems for trojans and viruses so I don't have much trust for any trainers and avoid them.

And "no virus"? Sorry, I still have no confidence in these things at all.

are you talking about when you get to 'certain' mission you have "30 seconds" or the mission is failed..........if that is what you are talking about---YOU CAN NOT STOP THE TIMMER, TRUST ME I HAVE TRIED....................
