Problem with player's texture
I have a problem with the character's texture, tried googling for some solution but couldn't find anyone with a similar problem. I tried changing the active skin, but the problem will remain the same for every selected skin. The weird thing is that I didn't have this problem during the first scene in where you have a prison outfit.

Here are some examples of it:

You should delete the entire GTA3 folder and redownload it, then carefully re-apply the mods.

Maybe the mapping is all wrong. What's the resolution of the skins?

I tried downloading your mod pack (the community patch) and it worked pretty well, the only problem is that I can't get rid of the extra enhancements, which is a bit a problem since I'd like to keep the colors as close as possible to the original. I tried to manually remove the files from the Rank 5, and I always choose "no" during installation when they ask if I want to download the extras. Do you know how I could fix this? Like I said, the rest of the mods are working perfectly, and I don't have the problem with the character's texture anymore, just want to remove the extra enhancements.

You can manually install the mods instead of use the provided batch file, extracting the mods in the GTA folder avoiding the enhancements.

Anyway there should not any issues with the colord. I made the patch to be as close possible to the original PS2 version.
The only mod that can change the colors is sharptrails. If you install the sharptrails mod (or select the XBox style installation) the trails effect will be removed and the game loses their distinctive bluish tint.
This also happen if you disable the trails effect from the game settings, regardless of the installed mods.
Try to check if you have the trails settings enabled or not.

Just installed it using the PS style installation, and it was exactly what I was looking for, thanks for that pack, it really was a life saver!

It's not a problem of the game getting old. GTA3 was a terrible port from the start.

There is an option in sharptrails' ini in the game folder's scripts sub-folder that allows you to retain the tint whilst keeping the rest of the mod's effects. I'd recommend changing this option in the .ini in your mod collection if you ever update it.
