I really just wouldn't worry about it. They really can't do anything about it being pirated. Many people have already downloaded them over the years and haven't gotten caught.
Sounds like anti-free speech and typical catering to political correctness around the same thing.
When did feelings suddenly matter in regards to free speech issues again?

The DE is literally a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphics overhaul with broken animations and plays like OpenGTA.
That is literally it.
Why are there so many braindead people always coming out of their holes on Wednesdays?!?
Bro, have you seen the videos? They play like OpenGTA with the ecxeption that DE has a white lining to help you aim(unessesary) and a weapon wheel.
"There is no reason to swim in GTA 3"
While I agree on that, VC and GTA 3 do not really need a swimming feature. What they really need was a "warp to shore" feature just like in Saints Row, to avoid annoying drowings. I guess this needed effort and some talent to be put in, something Grove Street games really lack.
Well yeah, but the original game was like this as well. To be able to swim and dive in VC like in SA, it implies that there is content under the water that begs for exploration or things to do while swimming to justify that feature. Something that vice city and gta 3 do not have. I only wanted for Tommy/Claude to be able to stay afloat and with a press of a button, to teleport back to the nearest shore. Creating extra content is already too much when the devs cant even remaster faitfully what's already there, but Im pretty sure that this "warp to shore" feature was doable as QoL improvement just like the weapon wheel
Actually FPS view was in the original version of GTA V as a mod. Yes, it was a mod on consoles. And it was wildly popular, which is why it was added in for next gen.
Just a side note: First Person View was in the normal version of GTA 3 when moving the camera when standing still. It only let you look around in first person view without being able to move. so the first GTA 1st person mode was in GTA 3.
Another thing i noticed in the New Version of GTA 3 they removed the over head view. (like Classic GTA 1 and 2 had).
Note : i don't own the DE, so i take a screenshot of a youtube video.

Thing is though, the bottom pic isn't of the original game as it was. It's the "Definitive Edition Project" mod which uses assets from the Xbox HD mod to replace the game's original textures with higher resolution quality ones and their shiny versions of the cars. They're obviously better, but they're not a fair representation of the original unmodded version vs the Definitive Edition. It's merely comparing what the Xbox version of GTA 3 looks like compared to the DE. But the Xbox version is also only available on the original Xbox unless you get the Xbox HD mod for PC.
Anyway, i prefer even the unmodded version (without graphic enhancements) to the remaster. Not a fan of the new "plastic" look.
