I know you can megajump your way from Staunton to Shoreside using replays, it is quite easy but only works while on foot unfortunately. Check this if you want more infos.
The two possible combinations are :
- Jump + Jump + F1 + F1 (as shown on video)
- Hold "move forward" + Attack + Jump + F1 + F1 (more convinient way to perform it)
While doing researches, I also found this video which shows a collision glitch in Portland that allows to get on top of the Liberty Metro tunnel (jump to 2:30 in the video to check it out).
I have tried doing it on my own using a BF Injection, but couldn't make it work. I have tried with Frame Limiter both ON and OFF, it seems easier with the limiter turned ON but I still couldn't get the BF Inj. to fully go underground, only parts of it unfortunately.
So the second way must be the one you're looking for, as you can travel with vehicles through islands using it. If you ever manage to make it through, tell me! That would be interesting.
Hope this helped you.
