Does anyone else get a depressing vibe from this game?
I would actually refuse to play it when I was younger simply because it bummed me out so much, people call GTA 4 drab but GTA 3 has definitely always gotten that award for me.

Not really, I do get that with San Andreas though. GTA 4 is drab but yeah I never feel downbeat with it either, but sometimes it does make me feel a bit queasy.

gta sa is comfy for me but it gives me motion sickness, no gta game makes me depressed though.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ , same. Never wanted to touch this as a kid since the world felt so lifeless. The game overall felt soulless as ♥♥♥♥

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm talking about. I couldn't even get into the game when it first came out because of that weird limbo-like feeling.

Gangsterism ain't fun.
You returned to your mom's funeral at the start of the game_
with two cops kidnapping you to 'take you home' :/ meh.. all your money gone.
