DirectX Problem
Hello everybody, I installed GTA III and my laptop's graphic card is Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti. Also when I check my DirectX version, I see that it's DirectX 12.0. However, the game is giving a DirectX error says "GTA III requires at least DirectX 8.1". How can I fix this problem?

Thank you! This helped.

Turning on DirectPlay didnt work for me. The feature was checked in my system but it didnt stop giving me the error message about DX. But I managed to make it work by putting ddraw.dll from the link below directly to the game folder.

I tried to launch it after that and I got a different error - Cannot find ... video mode. The game launched once I changed my resolution from 1920x1080 to 1600x900.
