GTA III Black Cars/Dark Textures FIX

If you're reading this, you've probably encountered the same issue I did. You installed GTA III and found the textures looked strange?

The way I fixed it was to firstly, right click gta 3 in your library, browse local game files, right click the .exe (application) called gta3 and go to compatibility. Then select run in compatibility mode for windows 98.

Secondly install this mod (https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=720574899) with the instructions within, which changes textures and stuff to make it a more aesthetically pleasing experience (former Ps2 and Xbox players, especially, will see more nostalgia with this mod)
