Old red never spawning

I’ve been playing Exit the Gungeon for almost 40hrs now and I’ve started to notice that some NPCs almost never spawn in.
This happened with some like Old Red and Trorc.
Although I don’t really care about Trorc, i was wondering what was the cause for the Old Red never showing up, considering I’ve only seen him once in 40hrs.
The other problem is there are also some other NPCs that spawn way too frequently, like the three mini games or the monk (idk how he’s called).
Did this happen to also other people or is it just me?

Keep playing, this type of thing is retarded and I get your frustration. I wonder why devs ever think this type of thing is a good idea when it just stops people from playing instead of keeping them
I can't even be bothered to find Daisuke and Flynt to get all the achievements and never play the game again

It is random. However I have Old Red spawn the most for me lmao. I never see the key dude and another person.

Anyways, I just got 100% achievements so I can never touch this game again. Back to the best OG version.

Fortunately enough i finished the achievement for the old red 3 days later, had a streak of 5 games where he showed up constantly. The rates are pretty ridiculous. Thankfully i got all the achievements and i could put the game away, 'cause waiting for a single NPC to spawn for hours, run after run, only to see the same three dudes you don't give a crap about constantly show up was really frustrating.

Yeh, i guess the odds of finding the NPCs are pretty weird. As a big fan of the gungeon franchise is kind of sad, and frustrating, to see this kind of stuff. :/

The problem is I believe this game originally was made and came out on mobile. That is why it is so short compared to the original game as well as a lot easier. (You basically have 100% bullet immunity by jumping constantly which makes playing on a phone easier)

But the original game also had bs RNG. It took me 50 hours (after I had every other achievement) to find my very first black market. I ended up seeing my first market at around hour 90 of game play.

Biggest bs I have ever had to go through for an achievement.

Yeh, i remember i had a hard time finding Winchester to get the achievement for completing his minigame three times.
I guess NPCs are a big problem for the devs, hope they fix it in some way.

In Exit i found it harder to grasp how the mechanics worked, especially the dodge roll ones, since they were so diferent from the other ones, as well as getting used to keep an eye on every moving object on screen. But you're right, it's probably because it was originally meant to be a mobile game.

Is there any special condition for old red to spawn? I’m having the same problem like you, I have played about 50 hours in exit the gungeon, but I’ve seen him just once:(

Unfortunately only patience and luck will solve the problem
