Proton backpack is awful

This is by far the worst weapon in the game. It does next to no damage, you have to fire at the weakest enemies for 3+ seconds to kill them. Beam weapons in general are already at a disadvantage in this game since dodge rolling is much more frequent than in EtG. The beam takes a while to reach enemies, making this problem even worse. It has 0 redeeming qualities.

It's kind of weird too, the weapon wasn't anything amazing in EtG but it certainly wasn't anywhere this bad. Klobbe, nailgun, etc are bad on purpose, but why is a gun based on ghost busters that bad? Is it some sort of ironic statement on how bad the new ghost busters movie was or something?

I'm not sure how the combo system works exactly, but I was about to start the dragun fight with combo sitting at 18, and the game handed me the proton backpack. Welp, so much for lead god (I know it isn't an achievement here like in EtG, but I would have still gotten all the master rounds in that run). I don't think it should even be possible to get the worst weapon in the game at that high combo.

The only other game breakingly bad weapons I can think of are the quad laser and wood beam.
