Both Mouse Support & Remappable Keys on the way!

Hello Captains,

We've been listening to your valuable feedback in the lead up to launch, and I just want to say that we appreciate you taking the time to help us improve the game, immensely! The team is thankful for your involvement, to say the least.

So, to address the kraken in the room that is mouse support...

Will King of Seas receive mouse support?

YES

Mouse support is now on its way to King of Seas! We can't commit to a timeline, yet - or provide any more info on this. But rest assured that the team is working to bring mouse support to King of Seas in the future.

I understand this is a U-turn from my previous utterances, but the team feels that this needs to be addressed, and will be acting to do this.

King of Seas was designed with the controller in mind, and we still continue to advise players to use gamepads moving forward.

Remappable Keys

Our most imminent update, due in the latter stages of June -- is set to include remappable keys features, to help enhance your experience!

I highly doubt we will get that at all.

Why would the direction suddenly change? Right, people said they will not buy the game. Did not seem to matter at all before today.
Why not give a rough time estimate? Like, in the the next patch in june. If any are planned at all.
Why put a disclaimer on the store page and then deny its validity?

I am just disappointed about the whole situation. Would have liked a neat new pirate game, but this will not do it. Maybe i will try the Demo again, if the kindly requested, basic feature is added.

None of this was mentioned on the store page when I preordered, so to say this is 'extremely irritating' would be a massive understatement.

Unreal. A PC game with no proper keyboard and mouse support. I was really excited about this but upon discovering that. I think I'm going to shelve plans to buy this game. Not until it has full keyboard and mouse support, not just mouse and not just limited.

Some people don't have a gamepad. Some people don't want to use one. Some people physically can't use one. You are entitled to your opinion, though I would take a look in the mirror, as you are displaying "crying" behavior right there.

Personally I am surprised to find absolutely no mouse support. This is a basic function no game or program anno 2021 should be without. Happy it will be implemented in the future, will be waiting for that.

You need to go ahead and refund it now, before you forget and are stuck with yet another game you can't play, because...

..sounds like it definitely will not be done before the end of the refund time limit (assuming it actually gets done at all rather than sitting on a perpetual to-do list), and...

sounds like they already expect it to be shoddy implementation that doesn't function properly.

For once, screw your game-count (like the jerk who made the store page screwed you) and get your money back.

It grabbed my attention on Blues News. Then I visited the store page and saw the absence of keyboard/mouse support. Not even going to bother with the demo now. Let us know when it fully implemented.
