Singleplayer?

It kinda hurts to ask this, since most pirate-games seem to be Online-MP only, so...

This game does have an offline SP, right?

One of the tags is singleplayer, so yes, I daresay there will be singleplayer.

We can assure you, King of Seas will have a Big single player mode, with a rich story, quests, secondary activities and so on.. we are not planning to add online multiplayer at all at the moment.

Ok i'm sold :D.....that being said, I don't mind games having MP, as long as its not an requirement, and I'd prefer coop mp, not vs mp

Sorry to hear that but there are plenty of multiplayer pirate games out there. Our aim is to tell a story and have a fully procedural world to play with. It's just a different game experience :)

I cant see why the devs didnt consider a coop mode. In a perfect world maybe even a splitscreen drop in coop mode but oh well..
