Did you fully support both your allies all games?

What I did with my allies:
Step 1:
- Went for the pincer attack too.
- Asked Agnolia to help with the Pincer attack.
- Asked Whelen to flank Rumburg. (I don't want those idiots near my army)
Step 2:
- Attacked Tzarsbourgh.
- Asked Agnolia to attack Dome (that's what they want to do).
- Asked Wehlen to help retake Dome. (Still don't want those idiots near my army)

Rumburg will not be the same after that.
Toughts and prayers for the new Wehlen citizens...

What do you mean by fully support?I just make military alliance with agnolia and recognize their claim on the island & i'm also supported wehlen operation bear trap but still managed not to antagonize blud enough to not making them harassing wehlen military...is it considered "fully support"?

To win the war you really have to modernize your army or air force. With air force being the best bet.
"If we lose the war in the air we lose the war and quickly" - Field Marsh Montgomery

You can win without alliances that way. You just need to make sure you do everything you did, plus keep the Gendarmerie with the military, have a recovered economy, and get Rumburg sanctioned for having nukes.

Regarding Step 2
You mean thornbourg?

Fully support: Back them in the interview and in front of the Alliance of Nation.

I can always win the war with Valgsland and/or Wehlen. But I always lose the war with Agnolia/Wehlen or Agnolia/Lespia.

This time round I tried to optimise everything positive I could for Agnolia/Wehlen:

H-3 Highway which assists in supply and transport with Agnolia.
Allied with Agnolia and recognised the Island as theirs.
Planned economy, a positive in War according to Symon Holl.
Increased military budget.
10% EPA limit for Gasom plus investing solely in them to prevent Rumburg energy Interference.
Superpower Trade War happened, which supposedly hits Rumburg especially hard.
Modernised Air force.
Removed conscription.
Invested in Military Industry.
Granted Asylum to Defector.
Exposed Rumburg's Spy.
Gendarmerie remains under Defense Ministry.
Participated fully in Operation Bear Trap, quelled Bludish Unrest and Centralised Bergia to allow Wehlen's passage through.
Fully supported Agnolia and Wehlen in AN meeting and Interview. Stated that Sordland will help Agnolia defend island if Valgsland attacks.
Exposed Rumburg's Covert Militant Arming and Nukes in the AN and called for a AN resolution against them.
Franc was sent to the Military and kept on the front lines instead of returned to Holsord to maintain morale.
Soll arrived to support War effort.

Potential negatives:

I normally invest in Healthcare, and build the State of the Art Hospital which usually helps the war effort, but the budget is so stretched in 2.0, especially when completely funding the military, that I opted to just maintain, and couldn't build it.

I ended up with Sordish Depression anyway, but I hoped this would not impact the war overly as I didn't opt for an attrition strategy.

I was informed that our Trade volume was insufficient and would cause difficulties in supply. Agnolia requested supplies to take Dome but we had 'barely enough for ourselves.' Not sure how this was the case considering I invested in military industry, and was trading with Agnolia, Wehlen and Lespia, plus Lorren Investments, H3 Highway and Morna Port?

Then for Strategy:

Iosef's Pincer Attack
Agnolia assists Pincer attack
Wehlen Flanks Rumburg

Attack Thornbourgh.
Wehlen guards rear in Tzarbourgh.
Agnolia attacks Dome (can't change.)

Even though the Pincer succeeds, Estord is recaptured, Tzarbourgh is captured, and the generals leave their phase 2 meeting happy and confident, implying future victory. But the attack on Thornbourgh always fails and I lose.

In frustration, I saved and loaded from the war meeting, trying multiple different strategies and ally approaches, each one either leads to the same result or worse.

Agnolia honestly seems like a real liability rather than an asset as an ally. Despite all of this extensive preparation specifically for them. As I always lose with them, they always fail to take Dome, and prevent allying with the much more powerful Valgsland instead who I always win with. I've even beaten Rumburg with only Wehlen as an ally in the past. Only reason you might ally with Agnolia otherwise is if you're Pro-ATO and/or for the novelty.

Anyone else successful with Agnolia or Lespia? And thoughts as to where I may have gone wrong here?

Sorry man, economy has a great impact on your, lets call it, war score. The Sordish Depression is most likely what's beating you up. In my previous post on this thread you can beat Rumburg without allies.

Also, the L1 railway is what you'd want to develop if you are allying Lespia. It's the only way for them to participate in the first battle.

Think of Angolia as that one narcissistic cousin, they don't really add much and are always after their own gain. So, just have them do their suicide assault on Dome.
