We hope you're enjoying your journey in Suzerain and Rizia! We'd like to share some important information regarding save game transfers, compatibility updates, and how you can continue your story seamlessly.

1. Save Game Transfers from Suzerain to Rizia Campaign

If you have completed a playthrough of Suzerain, you can import your save file into the Rizia campaign. This will allow certain choices and options from Suzerain to influence the story in Rizia.

Players who prefer not to replay the base game can now generate an Archetype to define Anton Rayne's past decisions when starting a playthrough of Rizia. Here, you can make a collection of choices based on Anton's personality and leadership to shape the direction of the world state.

In cases where there is no finished Suzerain story save, a canon world will automatically be generated to ensure a cohesive experience in the Rizia story. However, to fully experience the journey, we recommend transferring your save.

2. Compatibility with Update 3.0.9

Please note that the 3.1 Update requires starting a new save to be played. The previous save system will no longer function due to the implementation of a new technical infrastructure. However, we understand the value of preserving the legacy version 3.0.9 for those who wish to access it for nostalgic purposes.

Follow these simple steps to access Suzerain's legacy build:

- Open your Steam library.
- Right-click on Suzerain and select "Properties."
- Go to the "Betas" tab.
- Choose the "legacy3.0.9" branch.
- Download and play.

It's important to mention that the old version will not receive any further support or updates. We've introduced the 3.0.9 branch primarily to support players with in-progress saves, as we recognize the critical importance of accommodating their ongoing game experiences.

3. Reporting Bugs and Providing Feedback

Your feedback is invaluable to us. Please report any bugs or issues on our Discord Server in the 'testing-bug reports' channel.

4. Switch Updates and Console Launches

The team is currently working on updating the Switch port to version 3.1, with no release date confirmed yet. Console launches for Xbox and PlayStation will be on the agenda next. Stay tuned for updates!

5. Syncing Saves Across Platforms

With a Torpor Games account and cloud sync enabled, you can save your progress and sync it across PC and mobile platforms as long as you are logged in.
