Are there any advantages to a planned economy vs capitalist one?
Are there any advantages to a planned one? Seems like capitalist wins every time, is there something I am missing?

Yes there are. Planned gives more economy. It's the avoidable political choices related to the Oligarchs that can damage the economy.

Yes capitalism is inherently corrupt and evil

So even though Symon Soll says capitalism is better, the planned economy is actually the better way to go?

Both paths can max out the economy.

Whatever your choice is, make sure to follow it through

Okay, both can max out the economy but that wasn't the question. Free market is much easier to handle since you are far less likely to fall into debt crisis. Therefore free market has all the advantages.

What are you talking about? The "debt crisis" happens if you get your budget below fixed threshold, which has nothing to do with type of economy and is a direct result of how you spend your budget resources.

You can make a lot of money and boost the economy by privatizing those two companies. The con is you lose all conservative support. Once again, I want to congratulate the developers on making an awesome game

Yes... And you can keep your budget easier above a certain threshold if you privatize companies, schools, hospitals, etc, which is a element of the free market.

Neither path is "harder" than the other, in my eyes; you have enough resources on both paths to recover your economy without getting into crippling debt. Yes, in one approach you can spend more than in the other, but you don't *need* to spend that extra to achieve the goal of economic recovery (and your re-election), which effectively makes it just a surplus to play with.

Mixed economy is the best, as a Keynesian.
