A Skip Dialogue Button?
Any chance for this in the future?
It could be disabled on your first playthrough, but subsequent playthroughs become tedious when you're going for specific achievements, and you've to spam click/space to get through stuff you've already read three-times.

A lot of QoL features such as this one is needed. Unfortunately people will simp for the game devs and say that it's a reading game so you need to re-read text you've read already 100 times beforehand.

This would be extremely nice instead of spam clicking through dialogue

just spam through dialogue and then accidentally click the wrong choices

Yes, please. Long-time players who want to replay different scenarios would really appreciate this. In fact, many already do this by spamming the space key; why not simply let them do it more comfortably? For example, one reason why I haven't replayed Suzerain for a while is that I can't stand the idea of having to spam the skip button for several extended dialogues that I already know excessively.

This feature could be locked behind game completion, or even behind multiple completions. But it's *sorely* needed.
Oh yeah, just allow us to select the outcome/answer.

This☝🏽 or an option that simply says "I understand the situation."

spacebar just press it until you get to the dialogue options for your character to say
Pastah Aug 20, 2024 @ 2:51pm
Just press spacebar 60+ times every minute.

I also share your opinion Pastah but the way you talk about it everytime the subject is brought up makes me wish I didn't.
A lot of people agree to this, the subject has been submitted on the official discord as a suggestion. It's up to the devs at this point.

I can perfectly understand the dev logic for not having this when the game is new. However, as the game ages, long-term re-players become an increasingly important group. And it just doesn't make sense to force them to reread excessively familiar dialogue, or to force them to resort to spamming the spacebar. Anyway, good to know this is on Discord, not everyone uses it...

Honestly, I think it should have been implemented on day 1. After all, the game is meant to be replayed and the beginning of every playthrough is pratically the same. I love the game to bits but it is rough around the edges, especially on "gaming-related" elements.
I'm still confident that the devs will act on this sooner or later. They listened when people wanted a chapter save system (at first the game only had one save file per run).
