There is a guide about how the economy works in sordland.

With the condition of not trading with Vaghland's, what is then the best option for making Lorren green besides the port? The regional investement?
Loren as region benefits from
* regional investment in Loren
* Morna port
* decision to expand automotive industry
* tax breaks for small businesses
* Lespia trade deal (coal from Loren)
* Valgsland trade deal (coal from Loren)
(keep on mind there's also some situations which can hit Loren negatively, so it's not always as clear cut as just ticking off three of these)
I my experience it is better to focus your investments in one or two region rather than trying to invest in all of them, but I might be wrong.
If you are doing the market economy, I would recommand the Benfi airport (synergy with tourism act and Lespian trade) because you take advantage of the trade with lespia.
I understand the appeal of having everthing in the green, but having one region in orange won't prevent an economic recovery.
