You go from 1950 to 1958 so it does and game even asks you to play Sordland first or offers a default state of things.
Gasom deal, EPA, global trade war, peace summit with Rumburg all should matter in theory. I just wonder if anyone has gone that route. I had played too much of vanilla to replay it before the dlc. If I had known any fun interactions and changes I would have better ideas for Sordland playthrough. Still I think I am gonna do it. Just don't know the way.
