Have you guys played Rizia with your own Sordland save?

I went with default one that game creates for you. Deleted old 2.0 saves cause they didn't seem to work.

Any fun interactions? Does it make sense to replay Sordland game for a better Rizia experience?

My old Sordland saves from about 3 years ago did not show up unfortunately.

nope. I played and beat the game 3 years ago. the save file is too old...had to use a default save.

I guess pre-2.0 saves are unsupported, and that one only came out in summer.

I wonder if its just for newspaper events or more. It sounds cool!! Just a shame our saves dont work >:(

You have to complete the base game first. After that, you can continue to play as Rizia.

You go from 1950 to 1958 so it does and game even asks you to play Sordland first or offers a default state of things.

Gasom deal, EPA, global trade war, peace summit with Rumburg all should matter in theory. I just wonder if anyone has gone that route. I had played too much of vanilla to replay it before the dlc. If I had known any fun interactions and changes I would have better ideas for Sordland playthrough. Still I think I am gonna do it. Just don't know the way.

In my Sordland playthrough, I increased the allowed foreign ownership of the Sordish energy market to 49 % and encouraged the Rizian investment, and also made peace with Rumburg. At the moment I'm checking how this would affect my Rizia playthrough.
