Having played through (and enjoyed) this game more than once now, I've reached the point of going achievement hunting. I'd like to get the achievement in this thread's title, which requires that: 1) Monica divorces you, 2) Franc goes off to uni hating you, and 3) both Petr and Serge are dead. It's pretty clear how to deal with Monica, Franc, and Petr, but I'm wondering how to get my chauffeur friend to shuffle off the mortal coil. I've heard that the military parade is the part where he'll sacrifice himself to save you from an assassin, but how does that happen? Does it simply involve pissing off Iosef, or is there something more to it?

Essentially have the parade while the military really hates you. Which is easy If you dont mind getting coup ending (defund military, join CSA, be a commie, anti-sollist, Rumburg friend). Without coup is much harder, since it is bit more complicated. You essentially need to piss off the military but keep Iosef loyal, which is very narrow area, so be prepared to plant yourself firmly in Isoef´s ass.

When the assassination attempt happens,. tell serge to ram them (or something like that).

THAT SAID I believe you only need get divorced and send Franc away, but I might be wrong. Been a while since I got it.

Well, to trigger the military assassin parade, have military hate you. This could be done by putting Soll on trial and causing unrest (any kind, such as too capitalist, or neglects media support and attend Ascraf, or defunding welfare, etc). To make sure it explode, tell Karl to sabotage the ringleader without funding the police (if you try to talk to them but the unrest is too big, it will also cause unrest to worsen too). Tell Serge to floor it and he will die.

To make Monica divorce you, simply don't let her into politic, told her to leave when she proposes Woman's liberation bill with Ciara, and veto it. When she came home drunk, keep saying something rude.

For Franc, just send him to military or other country. Military is better cause it also give negative relation to Monica, I think

And finally Petr. Just put the blame on him when scandals arise. He should kill himself later (or have him killed with SSP if you fund it, you monster)

With no family, Petr, or Serge, you will dine alone. This is also a good way to get three funerals achievement (Circas, Petr, and Serge)

This would be the case as well since I was able to get this achievement WITHOUT Serge being killed off. I ended up getting the achievement by doing everything else with Frac, Monica, and Petr while Serge was still alive but instead was a complete ass to him or not caring about his family at every option I had in the game.

What's kind of weird that I just had a scene where I had dinner by myself, but seems completely unrelated to what the devs were going for. Monica's working late on her Woman's Right's council, Deana is at a friend's house and France is at Uni, and I'm sitting here reheating some crappy stew.

This is the scene where Franc gave the family home a call.

I wish the achievement description was a little clearer because I thought it was bugged.
