Hey Suzerain fans,

We're rolling out a new patch, but this time we're trying something different. Before we push the updates live, we're going to release a version for community testing. As Suzerain has evolved, the game has become more complex with lots of branching and interconnected systems. We want to catch any issues we might miss, gather a bit more feedback, and ensure our live versions are more stable. We really value your input.

Once we've had a chance to gather your feedback and make necessary tweaks, we'll update the live build. Thanks for helping us make Suzerain even better!

If you want to support the endeavor of improving the experiences, please report your issues in our Discord forum here[discord.com]. We read all your feedback. Make sure to tag 3.0.9-CT in the cards you create.

Patch 3.0.9-CT
(20/06/2024)

The patch is deployed to the community testing branch. The database changes only apply to new games, and code fixes apply to on-going games.

Navigate to your Steam Library, and right-click on "Suzerain" to select "Properties."
Go to the 'Betas' tab, where you can enter the following password information to the box:
Password: HelpingFolkOfRizia
Select the branch Suzerain Community Testing Branchfrom the dropdown menu
Download the update by opting into the selected branch.
Play and enjoy!

《Suzerain》中文本地化项目开始了！

各位Suzerain玩家大家好！

首先，我们要对所有在Suzerain发布以来以各种形式支持本作的中文社区成员表示感激，谢谢大家对索德兰共和国和索德兰人民的一腔热忱！

Suzerain发售至今已逾三年，期间有众多玩家通过不同渠道表达了对本作的喜爱；但同时玩家们也指出，中文版本的缺失使许多对这一题材兴趣满满的朋友无法入手，只得抱憾静待。各位的呼声我们都记在心里，然而苦于资源有限，汉化项目一直未能上马。但现在情况已经发生了变化，我们在这里高兴地通知大家：Suzerain的中文本地化项目已经于去年11月正式上马了！

负责汉化的志愿者团队全部来自Suzerain玩家群体，凭着对游戏的喜爱和推广Suzerain的热情加入了这场用爱发电之旅。团队目前共有16名成员，在六个月中已经完成了百科、法案、政府报告、媒体报道及成就系统的翻译与校对工作，共计约31万字。初步的技术测试也已完成，在这里特奉上部分中文版测试截图，以飨读者：

接下来，我们将正式开始对话主体的翻译工作，争取在12个月内完成汉化及测试工作，并正式发布中文版。在此期间，我们也会将团队进度向大家做定期汇报。

As the headline says, how the "Government Budget" works should be clearer. It's my first playthrough and I'm expected to make decisions about what will be funded and what won't be, but I have no idea how much time remains until the "Government Budget" is refilled, if it even will be refilled, so when a decision pops up I am just left guessing rather than actively making an educated management decision. Why, oh why, did our minister of education had to be such a moron?

You know, in theory it should be funny when people who lack critical thinking the most dare accuse others of not having it. But in practice the joke is kinda... beyond old. Sorry that I'm nagging about this but it's a sore spot that keeps popping up in every playthrough. I'm talking about the “talk” with the minister of education about creationism/evolutionism. The battle system is terrible.

I love this game but who the hell thought this battle system was remotely ready for release? You cant undo moves (before you end turn) and there's no clear reason given for WHY your units are unfavored (which they seem to always be, massively so even when of the exact same type). I'm so confused by who in the dev team thought this was fun....
