PS3 Eye/Face tracking not working
I'm currently trying to use a PS3 Eye which I'm able to use in other software (it's exposed via a directshow driver) such as Open Broadcaster Studio, Skype, Chrome.

While VUP can 'see' the camera is available and it can be selected, face tracking doesn't seem to want to activate. I don't receive a picture from the webcam in VUP either, just a small anime-like face with a red 'stop sign' type thing over it and kanji I don't understand/can't make out.

Any advice for getting it working?

To use these drivers in conjunction with VUP, a workaround I have found is downloading Manycam. After launching Manycam, VUP will show your PS3 Driver in addition to Manycams in the output. Select Manycam and you should be good to go. Kind of a roundabout way to get your PS3 cam functional with VUP, but it is all I have found that works so far.

As your description, the webcam can work normally
Then follow the steps below to troubleshoot
1. Check the webcam inputing device of the VUP. Is it correct?
2. After the above operations, please turn off the mask mode, face the webcam, make sure your face is completely in the window, wait for a while, until capture successfully.
3. If the above doesn't solve the problem, please unplug the webcam, or change the webcam, and try again with the other computers.
4. Finally, try the above, the problem is still not resolved, please contact us

How did you make it appear as an available input device? I tried with the CLEYE driver, It works for other applications but not for VUP.

Hello,
In fact, the case is that we have not yet supported the " ps3 eye" somatosensory camera.
We are still considering about it.
