Is anyone still playing

I just opened this game for the first time in a couple of weeks. Last I logged in there were two or three full servers. Now there is one server with 16 people, and another with 1 person. Has it dropped that low already?

Seemingly, you have to populate servers. I joined one with just 5 people in it and over the course of a couple hours we had like 30 people playing. Seems hopeless at first, but people start to hop in fairly quickly.

The main game always has like 20 servers or so, all with 40+ in them during the day. It's just about getting the WW server just populated enough that people who are swapping servers, or just logging on, see it and then join. From there it's easy to get a server going.

EDIT: Here 20 minutes after I quit and there is 38 people on the server.

Thanks for replying; I was taking the lack of replies to be an answer to my question. I've had a few games since I asked it - one with as many as 48 people. I hadn't realised that most of the people still playing are Finns. This means to find a game you need to be playing at Finnish evening sort of times. This isn't too hard for me as I'm in the UK, but how US players would find a decently populated server at a sensible time for them I don't know.

I'm actually in the US. That server I mentioned is based out of the US, as well. It's the only server currently running the mod for me. It is still within working hours here, though.

And, yeah. I knew that the Finnish were all about this mod when it first came out. I figured the hype had died down, I guess not lol. I'll have to find some Finnish servers for that immersive voip chatter.

unfortunately, mods like these have a very short lifespan. They are usually only populated the first couple weeks of release.

Player count might not be massively high, but I played a game earlier today that was virtually full after reading about the bots with the new update. It might not be busy, but I wouldn't say it was dead.

You got banned from the main server running the mod. You appealed and the appeal got denied.

Now you’re so salty that you can’t play the mod easily that you’ve taken to putting the mod down at every opportunity. Which is fine. To me it just shows how much you actually want to play the mod. You’re just doing all this as some sort of coping mechanism.

What isn’t fine is getting all political for no reason. That’s why some of your messages were deleted. And by some I mean one because one is all that’s been deleted.

No, I'm not putting down the mod. I've only said it was, to paraphrase, 'nearing death.' I've never actually stated anywhere that I dislike it. Quite the contrary, actually. It deserves more than one EU server that is populated (and as I said in the deleted comment, the server in question is often not even fully populated even on evenings and on the weekend). I'm not just saying that because I am banned from that server. You can call it a coping mechanism if you want.

What I'm most irritated about is how many RS2 clans do not seem to want to work with players. Yes, I admit, I have problems with abusing chat in-game. However, that does not mean I am unable to behave and play by the rules. If that were the case, wouldn't I be banned from most RS2 servers (which I most certainly am not) to begin with? The appeal I wrote, although called out by Tuomainen as '♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥,' was actually 100% genuine. I was sorry for the behaviour that got me banned (which, tbf, was not all that bad). However, they didn't seem to give a ♥♥♥♥ about understanding that people make mistakes and having empathy. Maybe it is a cultural thing with Finns, idk.

There was also a fll.fi member who followed me onto Bannerlord and basically stalked me to gather evidence against me (most of which was untrue, but still). I find that to be rather distasteful behaviour, wouldn't you? He was also threatening to expose me and what a '♥♥♥♥ clan' PHX is (at least PHX is willing to work with players and not outright deny ban appeals). Does that same like honourable conduct to you? It is also really creepy.
