Thanks
This can't be intentional... something had to break when they messed with the elevation. I can bob like 5 feet in the air up or down super quickly. If this somehow isn't a bug I'm gone from this game forever.
Today we identified a bug (based on some user reports like yours) which is currently affecting PC players who run uncapped framerates (especially > 120fps) having serious issues with the new elevation mechanic.
We are working on a fix now and hope to have it live in the next patch within a couple weeks.
In the meantime, please try with VSYNC on and your FPS capped at 60fps in the Video settings menu and you will see the game as it's intended.
Apologies for the issue and we will get it sorted as quick as we can.
Warmly,
Lenore
PS: Since launch, FPS > 60fps on PC is possible but somewhat unsupported as the game was designed for 60fps primarily. We have been identifying and fixing issues which occur at high framerates since launch but bugs aside the game will always feel a bit different at high framerates.
Thanks for all the feedback! If you have more feedback, join our Discord where you can chat directly with Devs and other players about gameplay changes, items, etc, that you'd like to see added to the game.
