Keyboard Key bindings, please?
I really wish they would add a way to fully customize the controls tthe way we want. I play every game I have on keyboard, and have the same setup for all of them. The only 2 games I don't have a custom setup are MX Vx ATV All Out and Legends. It makes it very hard to play the game on a good level. I really wish they would add full control customization on a future patch.

Totally agree, not having full customization of game play is a total FAIL. I would rather see THQ and RS dump some coin into ditching the key binds instead of giving us all the fancy pants riding gear. By the way, where is the time attack mode at? Another HUGE fail.

This has been requested since the game's release. It's clearly never going to happen.

Wait, so you can't even use mice macros (like Razer has) or third-party rebinding software? The mouse and keyboard are all hardbound?

What do you mean? You can change the assignments for the keyboard and gamepad by going into the video game's settings menu! Do you need some advanced profiling or something? Profiling customizations for remote controlls can just be done using Steam Controller Config. (It's better these days then something like Ds4)

I was wondering if there was hardbound keys. A lot of games lock you into to using WASD.

According to the in-game settings for controls, there are plenty of controls to customize on the keyboard including steer & lean left/right, brake, throttle, sit & stand, clutch, shifting, stunt and more and even includes an assignment for the bail key. The bail key is not changeable on the controller... maybe because it uses a larger key combination?

The keyboard controls also mention an extra condition like On Hold or While Moving (you customize the key but not this extra condition). Example: Sit and Stand "while moving": you can change it from Q and E, but it retains that "while moving" requirement.

Some keys that require a combination immediately only let you change the first key with a reassignment. Example: Stunt - is a Hold key (by default hold left control). You can change CTRL to another key, but inherit combination keys from steer & lean left/right. So you would have to change your steering and leaning keys if you wanted to change the stunt combination keys.

Thanks. I just wondered about WASD. A lot games erroneously assume that everyone on keyboard and mouse uses it. So if you try to use any other button for forward the game ignores you.

I use the right mouse button (don't ask why), so I have to rebind using macros often. But sometimes it doesn't work.
