Well, firstly, don't side with Werden. :p
Best options is keeping Alexia on his side, yes you can still have your side hunny Helayna if you want for this, but keeping the wife on Rowan's side is KEY. You also want X'aratal, Cliohna, Draith (you don't have to sleep with him to get his loyalty if that ain't your thing), Cla-min (and family), the orcs (the old orc or the female one as the orc leader), the goblins (both the one that wants to be like him and his wife and possibly tue-san if you can swing it).
You want Rowan to also have Shaya on your side with him in the dominate position over her. With Cliohna he needs to be submissive to her to get her allegiance (I believe been awhile since I tried the dom route with her). You want Greyhide as well (which is pretty easy to get). Luirial as well. Need to at least gain the dwarf's respect. The bartender lady. And the Fey (preferably both) with Heartsong too. If you can do all that you got a solid chance at challenging the Twins (or at least the beginnings of doing so).
And you can do all that with a corrupted or not corrupted Rowan/Alexia. Although, Rowan will have to at least sleep with Shaya, Cliohna, and X'aratal to gain their allegiance.
Oh, and Maud or Aleric in the city. I know Maud is kind of a probably going to kill you message at the end, but if you tried to save the city and sent guards with the girl to help her part of town, I have a feeling she'll give Rowan another chance (baby or no baby) ;).
For the Fey, once they show up they are now icons to the rooms south of Rowan and/or Alexia's room with Whitescar and um, forget her name, lady with horns! there we go! They will both be in those two rooms until you finish their quest chain. Heartsong is also connected with Whitescar's room too. As of this last patch that is how you continue those chains with the Fey and Heartsong.
As far as the dwarf is concerned, you have the wall inspection, then the statue (again Rowan doesn't have to sleep with the dwarf if you don't want to, but it makes it a bit harder to gain his respect, but not impossible.) Then the final one he smashes the statue of Rowan, you find him some place (again you have to look for the dwarf in his spot for these events to show now), and then have the last and final talk and/or sleeping with scene.
There are random events for the dwarf that may or may not show up for you as you play that can help your cause with him. One involving when he is excavating under the library (side with him), and another when he finds the warmaster armor for the orcs, (give the armor to the orcs which makes the dwarf happy).
There will also be where the dwarf "helps" the couple with Alexia's nursery designs in the castle. Just to save yourself some time, the dwarf is not Rowan's biggest fan, but he respects him. He likes Alexia from the start. Hence why you need Alexia to be on Rowan's side for most likely either of them having victory over the Twins. Whether they still love each other by the end of this whole story is up to us the reader. Hope this helps. Enjoy your story. :)
