I will grant you that the fact that achievements being tied to challenges is BS, and that the gamepad is an issue, but honestly, these other things you complain about are just very easy to overcome. And it's not like I'm a sucker for hard games or anything like that. I find something like the original Battletoads to be frustrating as hell, but this? Nah.
Also, just FYI, a lot of these issues are on our notes for review already.
I tried to use the smoldering cigarette butt to see the heat sensors also, thought it would be an obvious homage to MGS
Normal, tho I eventually switched to easy in the later chapters due to limited time to finish it on my end
Its a very 80's sensibility. I dont mind challenging games, some of which are my favorite games. But I also dont believe trial and error or failing due to poor information feels fun. If you know why you failed then the game doesnt feel frustrating.
