Sewer Level Help

In the sewers, after the rat/squirrel chase sequence, there's a stack of tires blocking the way. The ladder to the save point has two locked doors with a yellow ? keycard symbol. I had already crafted and used a molotov and all of my depleted uranium rounds to no avail. I have nothing else to use and nowhere else to go to continue. Help?

Huh, I had no idea about the molotovs, now I know what to do with those handkerchiefs.

Somewhere in the bottom right/south east of the sewer is a junk pile with an old flamethrower. Use the crate platform to get to it.

The flamer is broken, but you can fix it with a blue plastic drum, and you should have plenty of fuel on you. Ta da, tire melting time.

Just... be aware that isn't the only junk down there, okay?

I never thought to try and combine the drum with the broken flamethrower, thanks!

Same I was stuck down there for about a half hour before I caved and looked at a walkthrough. I actually was afraid I softlocked myself.

I feel the plastic drum should be replaced with a different item, because I genuinely thought maybe I was supposed to find another wooden platform, 3 more plastic drums, and make a second floating platform to go around the tires. Maybe change the name to "Plastic drum with hose" to differentiate from the other 4 drums you've picked up.

you get security keycards throughout the game but I couldn't find a way back to this spot from later and I beat the game

I think this is cosmetics. Or a way to troll possible cheaters who are too curious to know what's behind that locked door.

Well I need someone to post a video of them cheating through because I don't know how to do all that and I really wanna know lol
