100% true. unfortunally that maybe a government issue because most devs require you to have 64 gig of ram and a gp chipset from 2023 0r 24... but the amount of gamers recivieng 3k extra funds is so low.... well its funny how devs think most people are gonna have a gaming comp and parts less then 3 years old.....
i have every setting on performance and the game litterally goes 10 fps style....
on solo mode: luckly i have loot loss off.
but yah i fall to my death alot or mess a build up by ether falling to my death or due to the huge buffer betwween steps... lost so much loot or had to take the long way back to a spot i wanted to be at... it also reduces my play time to a hour.....
motion and camera blur are a no go for me... but thats what the game looks like right now.... servers might need a defrag. and maintenance check....
for those with seizure low fps can cause siezures... the minum fram rate at all times need to be atleast 40...
but the new update does rock quite a bit even if the game is little unplayable atm
For the non-beauty builders in the audience, I find the base building in this game mostly pointless.
NPC placement is interesting, but also pointless.
You could build a square building, and just dump them each into a corner and then never interact with the building system ever again (except to dump comfort items).
What makes Valhein base building SOOO good is that you need both aesthetics and defense. Some of my absolute fave moments in that game were when we built a frontier base at the border of swamp and dark forest and all hell would occasionally break loose.
Once a troll raid started as a pack of draugr were already close by and while half our base was demolished, it was the MOST fun I ever had in a coop survival builder.
Without that tension, there is nothing drawing me or my crew back to enshrouded.
In fact everyone I got into the game hasn't even bothered logging back in for the new content.
Some didn't even bother coming back for hallowed halls.
Look at EVERY other successful survival base builder and see that the tension of raiding adds massively to the replayability of the game.
Valheim - PVE raids
V Rising - PVP raids
Rust - PVP raids
Bellwright, Soulmask, Aska - PVE raids
Rust, ARK - PVP Raids
Palworld - PVE Raids... in a pokemon game come on...
Factorio... biters... biters everywhere...
And for those that don't want it, just have an option to turn them off...
