Found the chest but it doesn't complete the quest
Why?

if its for the survivor, you complete this mission by going to Glennwoods End, there is a western house with a chimney, drop down the chimney and at the bottom is the survivor which completes the mission. Just finished it today and I was super confused as well.

same here, got the chest but wont complete, its for the quest "cavern curiosities".

There are several quest bugs like that going on currently, I have 3 that refuse to complete, need to wait for a fix sadly.

didnt complete for me either. got a +40 time in the shroud ring from the chest. tried to dig into the rubble only get deadly shroud deep into the rubble.

the location marker si NOWHERE NEAR the chest at the entrance.

Just stumbled into the same problem. Found/looted chest but quest does not end. (Glennwoods End survivor should not have to do with this quest - I already have this survivor anyway.)

Unlock chest. DO NOT LOOT IT. Close out then reopen chest and loot it. Should now complete.
