Magic chest won't work during construction

On the right, it should give you options for materials right? But mine won't show anything if the materials are in the magic chests. If I put my material for building in my backpack, it works. Any help?

I thought the changelog said that you need at least one of the material you want to build in inventory and the rest could be in magic quests.

If that's the case it's not that helpful for me. I don't have more than a stack of any material, so the idea of a magic chest saving a backpack slot is moot right now. Hope they fix it soon.
