Game Crashes at Elixir Well NE of Albaneve Summit Fast travel Tower.

I have tried everything I could think of to fix this issue
-the setting it at Max Performance
-I have a amd radeon rx 6400 and have set he AMd adrenaline edition to "Performance"
-I have shut off and returned on V-sync and anti aliasing.
-I used a cmd Prompt run from one of the boards to try and fix the issue.

Sometimes it crashes as soon as I hit the respawn orb, other times if I bypass it and fly /drop in it will let me enter kill a few mobs then crash.

It started after the small update on December 2, I can roll back but then my husband has to also so we can play together.

0 crashes in older Zones and as long as I stay away from Tree Roots I am okay.

Same problem here, unfortunately. It's really annoying as I was looking forward to exploring the new areas.
P.S. I just completely reinstalled the game and it still crashes at the same point.

same issue, although i have terrible pc specs, but that 1 spot is making me crash when i got half way up the mountain, havent had an issue anywhere else ingame since i lowered settings but that 1 spot still struggles

I am having the same issues, i really hope they fix this soon so i can go explore the new area.

I have recently arrived at the Albaneve Summit Fast travel Tower as well. I have experienced 3 crashes now in that area and have not had crashes before this. I run as server but my gf does not seem to have the problem, at least not while she is the client, but she has not tried being the server.

I have an AMD Ryzen 7 5700X CPU, 96gb DDR4 RAM and an RTX 3080 Ti GPU with 12gb of VRAM. Not sure what is causing it, but I have tried changing the settings a bit to see if I might get rid of the problem that way. It also happens in a shrouded area SE of the tower, I have not been NE of the tower yet.

My loading times also recently increased to being several minutes while it used to take seconds. Both loading the game itself and then starting the game. I am thinking of reinstalling and see if that helps.

I just now changed the settings to not reduce the FPS when the game is running in the background.

I was able to Finally take this particular root down after updating some visual c++ apps that had not updated automatically. I used the AVG App manager to find those issues. It may have nothing to do with it but I was able to clear this well w/o crashing
