Magic Storage needs some form of Centralized Access
Arguably, this could be an endgame feature, but at a certain point in the game, I'd love to ditch having to store all of my stuff in separate containers and instead do something like the Magic Storage mod for tModLoader does or Applied Energistics mod does for Minecraft: they give you a single access point panel that is linked to your magic storage chests through some form of advanced pipe or cable, and allows you to access all of the inventories of the linked chests through one place. That place has a search bar with filtering to always be able to pull out the right item efficiently without having to dig through chests everywhere but stays balanced by still needing chests (and thus a space) to store all of the stuff...

If not for sheer convenience and time-savings, it helps the later-game due to the fact that you start to have to juggle tons of recipes and types of items - having to remember where you put everything can be a pain in the a**. I'm at the endgame for Early Access right now, and I am really hurting for a system like this already.

I'd rather they keep making new adventures to the game, than create an Warehouse Management System! 😁 It would be nice to have a base-wide sort of all items in all magic chests. I tend to go do something... bring back misc loot... dump it in a chest... go do another quest... bring back more loot and put that in a different chest...
BUT THEN every now and then I have to do that skill my parents taught me when I was 3-4 yrs old... empty all the boxes, and put things together where they belong.
🤔 That gives me an idea...

Signs would help. But I'd say the Resource Servers got around this by displaying examples above the chests to help you know what's in them.
