There is no cat to tame in tower

hey guys
first time i was there to get the quest item, i saw the cat, but now i have the taming food but the cat inst there anymore..
only rats respawn from time to time.
relogged several times, closed the game also, but there is no cat
searched around the tower, there is also nothing!
can someone help me?

Nope, in my play the is there in the tower 3rd level. But I doesn't manage to tame it and it run out of the tower in the miasma.

in my case she was there, but i ignore here, when i come back to tame her, nothing..
where the hell is she ^^
and when she dies, where is the respawn?

I killed the rats and make the cat nervous, it runs away. I find it outside the tower in the miasma. I didn't come back to the tower at the moment so I can't assure, the cat respawns - the rats do.

I save the cat when my base is ready for it and also for the dog. But it takes a while, it will be a big base with 7 stages to enjoy, work and for the NPC's. Location: Vulkan/Desert near the pillars of creation (in German: Säulen der Schöpfung). High, mostly flat and no disturbing environment/enemies. To get to this spot is dangerous and difficult. The enemies are strong and the cliffs slippy.

Got it, started new game and it works..

Same here. No cat to find, not even rats - not in the tower, nor the closer environment. Restarting the game does not change this.

Edit: seems I found the solution in my case: I had an altar a bit near the tower - this seemingly prevented the spawn of a cat (and rats). Eliminating this altar and reloading the game gave me the cat (and rats..g).

Just in case, also had this issue. Came there 1st time, didn't have food, came back later and the cat was just gone. I had placed an alter right next to the flame location next to the tower. While the zone for it didn't overlap the tower, just the proximity much have been enough to F it up. Deleting the altar I placed and reloading, then walking all the way back because my checkpoint was gone, the cat had respawned.
