Staying stuck in loading screen after patch

Hello together.

After the recent big patch my first problem was that the graphic quality was incredibly bad:
- At first, opening a storage box caused a screen that was made of flimmering pixels.
- After relogging twice and changing graphic settings to low, the storage problem didin't occure anymore but: At high graphic settings, everything was blurred, at low graphic settings the game was playable but still didin't feel fluid (it felt like a huge fps crash, I shoud have checked the fps then but I forgot).

I never had problems with Enshrouded and I don't have any graphic issues with other games (mmorpg in remastered mode etc.).

So I reinstalled Enshrouded and followed the advices like updating graphic drivers, set priority, launch as administrator, check data and so on.

But after the reinstallation, no matter what I do, I coud log in to any server (privat/local or external) only two times of twenty attemts. I just keep being stuck in the loading screen. The hotfixes didin't change anything fot that case.

What should I do or can this be fixed?

Now I have found a post in the forum saying the game needs a graphic card with minimum 6GB RAM. I have only 4GB.

Is it true? And why I could play the game before but not now? Does the new area cause this much loading amount?

Maybe a shared memory can help when possible. When you look in the log file (can be found in the root directory of enshrouded) and scroll down to the last lines, there you will see why the game is load infinite/crash. I bet its Out of Memory.

same issue here, 12gb vram. i put 4 hours in the game before leaving my buddy's server to change my name to something goofy, and it hasnt loaded in anything since. tried restarting, several different "fixes" online etc etc. nothing has worked.

Did you check your logfile as Tialuna described in the comment? Maybe you have a different issue than the ram - but it should be desribed there (

I have the same problem with a gtx 970.
After a fresh install it works fine. The second time I try to join a server is is stuck in loading srceen forever. Tried to repair all data files andd scanned them. This was not working. Please find a solution. I can not reinstall the whole game, when I would like to play it!
I have the VK_ERROR_OUT_OF_DEVICE_MEMORY in the logfile.
It is strange, that right after install it works. There must be something wrong.
Edit: After installing the newest graphic divers, it worked once also. I guess when the preprocessing is done while start, the game is able to load. How could I trigger the preprosessing?

Lowering the graphics to lowest before joining a server worked well. Getting a better graphic card soon... So I hope, I wont have to continue playing in potato mode.
