Impossible to reach room in fort kelvin

So in the sewers, theres an iron gate showing a room that seems quite large. Me and a buddy spent an hour looking for a way in, and i even dug from the outside and managed to hit one of the catacombe parts where you can destroy the wall enough to look in but not enter. As said before, the room is quite large and i can hear multiple enemies but no way to enter. Anybody found a way or is it a miss or bug from the devs part?

Don't know if you found it or not, but to the left of the metal gate is a destroyed wooden bookshelf. If you destroy it, there is a hidden door wall behind it that leads into the room. I spent forever looking for the way in until I started smashing everything and found that. If you go inside the room and face the gate, look up and there's is a grapple point with a chest. Thats the only loot sadly.
