Server is full or unavailable

Hello.
I have a problem, it displays this message when I try to connect to my friend's server, he also gets this message when he wants to connect to me, has anyone had this problem?

same here, happened after the steam server went down (in our area) tried different "fixes" even a fresh install of the game, we tried if we have the same problem somewhere else where someone hosts the server, and it happened in Sons of the Forest exactly the same.
we opened a ticket and asked but steam usually needs days to respond so our guess now is waiting (yes we hate it too)

I have no problems to connect to any server but my friend have a same issue as mentioned here. Logs show us an unbelievably high ping
