Pikemead bug?

Anyone else facing bug at Pikemead? I have helped to complete the quest in my cousin's world and leveled up, but now in my own world I defeated the Pikemead's boss 5 times, twice with my cousin joining my world to help me with the battle, but the quest still shows incomplete. We opened up all the doors and collected most of the chest and fast travel home but it's still showing question mark at the location like nothing was done. Besides defeating the boss, getting the head and key, is there anything else that I'm missing to complete the quest? Any way to fix this without starting a brand new world?

Hey, I also had this bug, a workaround I have found is to make a flame alter near the capital, then use a new character on the same world to advance that quest... for some reason this usually forces the quest to update for your main character afterwards.

Thank you so much! I tried your workaround method and created a new character, level up a little and went for that quest and it worked! When I play back my original character, that Pikemead quest is finally completed. Thank you so much once again!
