I understand we can't aim wand like a bow because wand can use shield to block off hand with RMB.
However for everyone who does not like to play with Target-Lock, it makes using Wands a true pain.
We do need a way to manual aim, furthermore a cross-hairs dot that stays on screen for a bit longer than half a second would be appreciated (kinda hard to even aim at a barrel or a puzzle button)
I am pretty sure the OP is not talking about Target lock, but rather the auto-targeting that occurs, even when you have it off. This also happens with bows, however with bows you can negate the auto targeting by holding Aim, but it still present when you do a simple hip shot
