Stuck on quest "Forge a Weapon"

I'm in need of metal scraps! I have gone to the location on the map and have killed all of the raiders in the camp but I still do not have enough metal scraps. I cannot find anymore scraps in the location either. There is still a marker on the map and in the description of the quest, it says "A spot for collecting Metal Scraps is marked on the map".

Any help or guidance appreciated!

Start breaking stuff around the camp, a lot of them drop metal scraps ;)

Otherwise a quick reload will have the whole camp spawned again for you to farm

I am trying to destroy things that appear to be made of metal but I'm not receiving any materials

Never mind! I managed to get enough from the camp, a little reload did the trick :)
