Comfort capped at 13

No matter how many comfort items I place my comfort is capped at 13. It's been stuck there for awhile, even crafted a whole new longhouse almost fully decorated and it's still stuck at 13. Anyone have a fix or suggestions?

The mechanism seems to be one per slot - So duplicates or different illumination types won't override, for example. Keep picking up more of the NPCs, I've got all but the farmer at the moment and got it to 20 without even optimizing.

Yeah you will probably have to trial and error to get it higher. Not much info around yet. I walked into a prefab tavern put down a bed and it was on 14 without doing anything more. I suppose the roof, door, builtin kitchen and fireplace, table chairs, being doubke story etc made it register all these items as counting towards the score. Not sure if the altar level also counts towards it?

Some things stack, some don't. Usually same + value in same category will not stack.
I'm at a 36 minute rested buff. At end game I've seen people at an hour.

Bathroom items stack 3x +2 comfort

Farmer's Fireplace/Stove Bug.
The Stove is count as same as a fireplace, so...

same system as valheim : only 1 item per category for comfort counts and only the highest one is counted. otherwise you could have infinite rested buff which would defeat the point of even haveing the entire system or perks for it.

you can unlock better comfort items later.

but unlike valheim rested buff is not needed to be effective sadly.

from what i can tell it also takes into affect the materials your floor/walls are made from.
standard wood and stone seemed to only go to 13 max for me. then i made a house from Palm wood, no decorations and its already at 26.

It actually says soemthing like "aesthetics: +2" or "bedding: +3." And I think it just goes with whatever the highest item in that category is. Would be nice if there were a page that had stats on each category...maybe there is hidden somewhere in the menus.
