Can't load into server after today's patch? (1/31/24)

One of my community members can't find the server in the list again and I can't find it either. I'm the server owner (GPortal).

Is this due to the update or a problem with game recognizing servers after the latest patch?

I did a manual restart of my GPortal server, it updated the game and now it shows up as a favorite in my server list in game.

Nitrado servers had to update after the patch which takes a couple hours after the steam update. Should be working now, i just got mine back online after restarting the server so it could update.

Using nitrado, no updates pending, it restarts and says online, the server will now show in game.... anyone found a fix? I tried renaming server and using different password... the weird thing is it showing in steam server list but in game itself it will not show.

I can find my dedicated server (hosted on my own hardware) but get an error when trying to join. Confirmed both server and my client are on 490142..

i restarted my server, no pending updates... server still added on steam server list as favorite but will not show inside the game itself.... i hate life.

Had the same issue. My server is running on my old laptop. It was visible everywhere but not in game.
Updating server files solved this problem

how did you update server files? I restarted the server and it just restarts it.... it doesnt give it an update option.

OK, here is your fix for the locally hosted Dedicated server. This is for a locally hosted server fix, not GPortal.

For some reason SteamCMD is not coping the files to the servers folder location.

Do this to fix your dedicated server.

Go to SteamCMD\Steamapps\common\EnshroudedServer folder copy all of those files to your servers location.

This will fix your server and it will show back up online. It fixed mine!!

The devs new patch must have broken SteamCMD. hope they fix it soon, but this fixed worked for me.

IS the SteamCMD\Steamapps\common\EnshroudedServer NOT the server location? I understand what files youre referring to but im confused on where im copying them to.
