REMOVE THE FEATURE TO USE WEAPON ALREADY SELECTED

I BROKE MY TABLE BECUASE I HAD MY AXE SELECTED AND INSTEAD OF SELECTING THE AXE IT USED IT BECUASE IT WAS ALREADY SELECTED remove feature plz

Nice to hear I'm not the only one troubled by hitting stuff wen selecting it once again by using the number keys. I'm used to this causing the weapon to be put away but I guess while having that feature available would be nice it's not really the most pressing issue.

Literally, just common sense not to left click on a table whilst holding a weapon or a gigantic axe?

i didn't left click the table, i pressed the 3 button to select my axe to put my axe away and instead it swings the axe

I do agree that hitting a hotbar key shouldn't actually perform an action if you already have the same slot selected... mainly since it's inconsistent since you'd need to press it twice if you currently have a different slot selected - it should just do nothing then.

I think this is a problem with the internal item structure. If a usable object is on a button, then of course it should work the same way, but with a weapon this should be suppressed. Theoretically, you could set this accordingly with a flag, which would then even allow you to control the corresponding behavior in the settings if there is someone who wants to use it like now.
