Progress loss

So i have noticed something when it comes tot he progress loss issues. If playing on a dedicated server. if a backround hotfix gets pushed while you are logged out, but the server is still running there is a version conflict which makes the game not save on either end. I say this because evertime i come across a progress loss for a gameplay session i go and restart the server and low and behold an update happens.

If this is the case they need to change the version numbers to some degree and prevent people form logging into servers without the same version number instead of hotfixing without changing the version number at all.

This can happen even without a pushed hotfix.

I just logged out came back 10 mins later and my game had rolled back 30 mins worth of building progress...

Friends and I just lost 8 hours of gameplay both character and server because it never saved.

lost that much at least the other day as well on a dedicated, just havent gotten on in a few days as we wait for a fix

26th had a fix, yet we got it again on 27th, and obviously you are just hit with it

needs a big fix for this
its rare, but man it really sucks if you get hit with it

Yeah it does. why my freinds and i started to test our server. Log in and move somehting from our character to a storage. Log out and in and see if it took. if it did awesome if not we would reset the server and always see an update being applied.

Same here yesterday, playing with firnds on dedicated for some hours. patch was released on steam in the meantime, noone rekognized. all the progress was lost du to server having the old version running. nitrado btw.
